Sun City Hilton Head   

Sun City Hilton Head is a seniors-only planned and gated community in Bluffton, SC just 13 miles from the bridge to Hilton Head Island. The community is a popular choice for many seniors age 50 and over because of its outstanding recreational amenities, an attractive social environment and many economically priced homes.

When you visit Sun City Hilton Head and drive along the palm tree lined boulevards, you will see many residents who drive around the community in small electric cars and golf carts for which there are designated parking areas. Residents are going to and from the community’s two 18-hole Mark McCumber designed golf courses, the clay tennis courts, large indoor and outdoor swimming pools, deluxe fitness center, bowling alley, bocce courts, softball fields and classrooms for arts, crafts and various club activities. Most of these amenities are centrally located at the Community Social Center.

Prices range from $175,000 to $380,000 for new and resale homes that average 1,400-2,600 square feet. The Riverbend section has much larger homes with big views of the Okatie River priced from $459,000-$1,450,000. The Haven at New Riverside is a new area that opened in March, 2007. It has 500 homes projected @ $240,000-$370,000 with sizes of 1,600-2,600 square feet.
